How this works

Four steps, and you can stop at any of them.

There is no funnel here. This is the whole process, written down so you know what you are agreeing to before you start it.

  1. You email a question

Whatever the question is. What you have now, what you have been quoted, what you are worried about being caught out by. No form, no questionnaire, nothing to sign up to.

  2. We work out what you are actually eligible for

This depends on your state and your circumstances, which is why it is a conversation rather than a number on a page. If something you have seen advertised is not available to you, you will be told that early rather than late.

  3. You get the options side by side, in plain English

What each plan covers, what it does not, which doctors and hospitals are in the network, and what it would cost you in a normal year and in a bad one. The trade-offs are the point — a cheaper monthly figure that collapses the first time you use it is not a saving.

  4. You decide

Or you do not. Staying where you are is a legitimate answer and you will not be chased for having given it.

Useful to have ready

None of this is required to send a first email — it just makes the second one shorter.

  • The state you live in.
  • Who needs covering, and roughly how old they are.
  • Any doctor, specialist or hospital you want to keep.
  • Any regular prescription you would need covered.
  • What you have now, or the quote you were sent.

What does not happen

  • Your details are not sold, shared or passed to a lead buyer.
  • You are not entered into an automated call or text sequence.
  • You are not quoted a figure that quietly assumes something about your health you were never asked.
  • You are not told a deadline exists when it does not.
